Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Manage all day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring that every dollar is accounted for and recorded accurately.
- Accounts Receivable and Payable: Handle invoicing, manage incoming payments, track overdue accounts, and make timely payments to suppliers.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly perform reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
- Budgeting Assistance: Assist in preparing detailed budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with the management team.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, and that all necessary deductions and reports are handled properly.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and file VAT returns, assist with tax preparation and filings, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve bookkeeping and financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy within the department.
